This is not an option for an engine! which will take you for a short time in an emergency, but it's bad for the radiator and water pump. If your head is cracked should be replaced or repaired (if repairable) by a specialist. The engine is a broken end, and radiatior bad and the water pump.
I certainly do not use it in a diesel engine. A diesel is also strong on the right compression seal, and I doubt it would work. Unfortunately, a reconstruction of a diesel engine can be 2 to 3 times the cost of gas engines, as will the necessary pressure on the combustion of diesel exhaust.
